Home Health Care Assistant Duties Include:

• Working alongside a Physical Therapist within the context of the Therapy team
• Measuring and recording gait speed and balance can help to identify risks for falls and other injuries in elderly residents
• Each progress report must take a comprehensive and holistic approach. Every aspect of the resident's care should be considered, including their physical, emotional, and social wellbeing. Thorough documentation of progress will ensure that all residents receive the best possible care
• Enabling residents to engage in specific workout routines
• Various therapeutic methods will be utilized to aid in residents' restoration, such as balance and gait strengthening exercises
• Providing guidance to residents on how to operate necessary machinery and gadgets
• Exploring various workout routines and techniques that promote muscle strength and enhanced physical capabilities
• Fostering community trust through ethical handling of confidential information of residents
• Compliance training programmes can provide employees with the knowledge and skills to reduce the risk of non-compliance and legal issues
• Collaborating effectively with team members to achieve desired outcomes

Home Health Care Assistant Requirements Include:

• An accomplished graduate of an accredited Home Health Care Assistant Program
• The current New Jersey State Home Health Care Assistant license is still the official license
• Long-term-care experience is a definite asset for this position
