Job Summary:
The Class A tanker truck driver position requires a Class A CDL with no restrictions and a Tanker endorsement to start. A Haz Mat endorsement is required within 60 days of hire.
The driver will be responsible for planning trips, considering breaks, fuel stops, customer appointments, weather, traffic, and driving conditions (city and rural). The driver will also manage unforeseen circumstances while ensuring safe and timely deliveries.
The driver will operate various equipment, including but not limited to:
- Semi-truck
- Tank trailers
- Dry van
- Pneumatic
- Intermodal
- Flatbeds
The driver will be responsible for safely and efficiently loading and unloading products according to company and customer instructions. Weekends, nights, and holidays will be required to ensure timely deliveries to customers. Weekly mileage may fluctuate.
Essential Job Functions:
- Follow all government, company, and customer policies and regulations, including FMCSA, OSHA, EPA, and DOL standards.

- Must be able to obtain the Hazardous Materials endorsement within 90 days of employment.
- Preferred Candidate Job Requirements:
- 24 years of age or older
- 12 months of verifiable OTR or local driving experience within the last 7 years
- Class A CDL with Tanker Endorsement (Hazmat must be obtained within 60 days)
- No more than 1 chargeable accident within the last 3 years
- No more than 3 jobs in the last 3 years
- No more than 1 moving violation in the last 3 years
Candidates must successfully complete:
- DOT pre-employment drug screen
- DOT physical
- Background check
- Functionality testing
