Job Summary:
As part of their job, the Sales Assistant is tasked with executing various responsibilities to uphold efficient store functioning. These tasks typically involve supporting customers, supervising products, operating cash registers, and sustaining a neat and orderly sales area.
Duties and Essential Job Functions:
- Customer Service: Enhance customer satisfaction by warmly welcoming shoppers, aiding them in selecting items, and attending to their inquiries or concerns promptly.
- Cash Register Operation: Engage in operating the cash register by managing transactions, which involve detailing and adding up bought items, accepting payments, providing change, and packaging goods.
- Merchandise Management: The duties of managing merchandise encompass activities such as positioning goods on shelves, refilling supplies as required, and constructing eye-catching product showcases. Moreover, it entails the organization and arrangement of products obtained through shipments.
- Store Maintenance: Keep store premises tidy by maintaining cleanliness in various areas such as flooring, restrooms, and storage spaces. Proper disposal of rubbish and performing routine cleaning activities are essential to ensure a well-organized store environment.
- Store Operations: Ensure compliance with organizational guidelines for merchandise management, encompassing receipt, unpacking, and product arrangement. Support in the implementation of sidewalk exhibits and promotional installations.
- Compliance: Stick to the company's policies and safety rules. Aid in managing inventory and guarantee adherence to operational guidelines.
Knowledge and Skills:
- Customer Interaction: Possessing strong interpersonal capabilities to engage effectively with customers and offer exceptional service.

Work Experience and/or Education:

Working Conditions:
