Job Description: Packaging Associate

Job Summary:

As a Packaging Associate, your main responsibility will be accurately selecting products by cross-referencing numbers and items through a voice audio headset. You will manually lift and stack product cases, which may weigh up to 50 pounds, moving them repeatedly from the floor to above your head. Your tasks will also include arranging beverage items in a specific stacking pattern on pallets, shrink-wrapping orders with labels, and transporting completed orders to the loading dock using an electronic pallet jack or walkie-rider. Additionally, you may be asked to perform general warehouse cleaning and other duties as assigned.

Responsibilities of Packaging Associate: 

• The activity of hand stacking and palletizing orders requires individuals to methodically stack and organize goods on pallets using manual labor
• Performing duties using EPJs, pallet jacks, and incorporating voice audio headset technology
• Choosing and placing an order
• Finalizing shipments by shrink wrapping orders
• Performing physical activities like lifting, pushing, pulling, and handling manual tasks as needed

Requirements of Packaging Associate:

• Ability to stand and perform physical actions such as pushing, pulling, bending, twisting, kneeling, and lifting throughout the entire shift
• Proficient in lifting loads of up to 50 lbs. from the floor and lifting them above the head
• Being skilled in using a voice-activated order selector picking system
• Competence in the manual shrink wrapping of completed deliveries
• Adapt at working in multi-temperature environments, including both warm and cool settings
