Duties & Responsibilities
- Safely and effectively transport goods for delivery to stores.
- Unload and reload cargo at every drop-off location.
- Adhere to the regulations set by the Department of Transportation and comply with safety protocols outlined by Dollar General.
- Guarantee prompt deliveries to retail outlets and distribution hubs.
- Conduct thorough inspections on designated vehicles before and after journeys.
- Deliver exceptional customer support to retail staff and suppliers.
Qualifications
- Possessing a legitimate Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL).
- A minimum of one year of experience operating tractor-trailers is required.
- One must have reached the age of 21 in order to be eligible.
- Understanding DOT regulations and federal standards for motor carrier safety is essential.
- Capable of unloading and managing cargo that is 50 lbs in weight.
