Duties & Responsibilities

• Safely and effectively transport goods for delivery to stores.
• Unload and reload cargo at every drop-off location.
• Adhere to the regulations set by the Department of Transportation and comply with safety protocols outlined by Dollar General.
• Guarantee prompt deliveries to retail outlets and distribution hubs.
• Conduct thorough inspections on designated vehicles before and after journeys.
• Deliver exceptional customer support to retail staff and suppliers.

Qualifications

• Possessing a legitimate Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL).
• A minimum of one year of experience operating tractor-trailers is required.
• One must have reached the age of 21 in order to be eligible.
• Understanding DOT regulations and federal standards for motor carrier safety is essential.
• Capable of unloading and managing cargo that is 50 lbs in weight.
