About the Role

As a Packing Specialist, you will be responsible for accurately selecting products by matching numbers and items with the help of a voice audio headset. You will manually stack product cases weighing up to 50 pounds, lifting them repeatedly from the ground to an overhead position. Your duties will include organizing beverage items into a specific stacking pattern on pallets, shrink-wrapping orders by hand while applying labels, and using electronic pallet jacks or walkie-rider equipment to move completed orders to the loading dock. Additionally, you may be tasked with general warehouse cleaning and other duties as required.

Equipment options for you to utilize

• The EPJ, also known as an Electric Pallet Jack, is a powered machine that aids in the lifting and transportation of pallets, offering a more efficient alternative to manual handling
• Walkie Rider

Major Duties:

• Hand stacking and palletizing orders refer to the practice of manually stacking and arranging items onto pallets for ease of handling and transportation
• Performing duties using EPJs, pallet jacks, and incorporating voice audio headset technology
• Making a selection and ordering
• Finalizing shipments by shrink wrapping orders
• Executing actions such as lifting, pushing, pulling, and undertaking manual duties as required by the situation

 Shift and Schedule

• Monday through Friday is the customary schedule for full-time employment
• The schedule runs from 4:30 PM until the job is finished
• The role involves being open to working overtime and weekends as necessary.

Minimum Requirements:

• Ability to stand and perform physical actions such as pushing, pulling, bending, twisting, kneeling, and lifting throughout the entire shift
• Can manage to elevate items up to 50 lbs. vertically, starting from the ground and reaching overhead
• Being skilled in using a voice-activated order selector picking system
• Skill in using hand shrink wrap to encase ready orders
• Adapt at working in multi-temperature environments, including both warm and cool settings
